I got wayyy too nervous when I saw that it wasn't free returns, as many reviews say that it came in broke. I was nervous for NOTHING. Everyone said that it wasn't sturdy at all, the silicone bands snapped, and that the hamster chewed through it. They just had bad luck. For me it was different. it may not be very sturdy, but it was more sturdy that everyone was saying! No bands snapped one me, and even if they did, there are sooo many extras! Phil has done absolutely nothing to damage the cage. I highly recommend this cage, there are very few that are as beautiful and large. A big thanks to Niteangel for providing safe, amazing products.

Lo único que no me gusta es que está detenido con bandas de goma y te dan tape de papel pará las orillas parque no se tiré el sustrato. Usé silicón de pecera para las orillas y se mira más mejor, solo se ocupa un tubo be 1.5 oz y sale $12, sería mejor si incluyan esto envés del tape.

I got a small cage for my winter white dwarf hamster. The cage is easy to assemble, and it looks really nice. I also got some additional items from Niteangel as I find them to be of good quality. Overall, my Coco loves it:)

This cage is huge!! We love it! It was fun to put together except for one of the pieces was a little too snug and split a little, but didn’t change overall appearance. We would definitely buy again.

Seems like my hamster really enjoys the new large case. But it did take a long time to put the cage together. The cutouts in the acrylic panels don't seem to align well with the wooden boards - this needs to be improved. Nonetheless, it is worth the time spent to see my hamster roaming around in the cage. Other than the cut out hiccup, all else is good with this cage.

We were needing a larger home for our hamster. This cage arrived quickly after being ordered. It arrived in perfect condition and was super easy to put together. We had it together and ready to go in less than 10 minutes. Needless to say, our little Hammy is loving his new home! We have been using it for a little over a month or so now and still love it!

We searched and searched and this is a large space for our hamster but it gives a more natural feel without all the metal and plastic. This has kept our sweet hamster safe from the cat and it has been very sturdy and well made.

Good ventilation, great size. Front door a little flimsy as plastic hardware loosens on own and must be tightened here and there. My hamster is happy with it, enough room to create levels and burrows.

The pierces were difficult to put together and the corners did cut me a lot, but overall I would say its a good Forever home for a dwarf hamster and long enough for a syrian hamster. The wood is chip-able but the good thing about it is its smooth like and so that would make it easy to clean. After its built there really isn't complaints on the finished results?

Is very sturdy despite being held together with rubber bands. was kind of hard to align the clear sheets with the wood since it was large and flexible. stilll ended up having to sand down some edges to make it fit together properly. Would buy again though.

Love this enclosure, exactly what I was looking for. A bit snug to snap together in a couple places. But easy to put together with a second person. It took us less than an hour and it looks great! Also, over 800 sq in of floor space is a must!

This cage is huge HUGEEEEE. I live in a studio apartment and I thought I would have room! I’ll have to figure out something! I’m not done building it but I know my hamster will be happy!

I put this together by myself―that was definitely my first mistake. Get some help, and make sure you line up the acrylic pieces PERFECTLY with the wood. I ended up putting one of the acrylic pieces on the wrong side of one of the pieces, and I ripped the paper trying to peel the acrylic off lol. I also had to struggle to get the sticky part off. I didn't line the acrylic pieces up perfectly either, which made putting it together... challenging, to say the least. I'm an out of shape 20 yr old girl, so me putting it together alone at all was a feat??Honestly though, for $110, this is a bargain. Even with the issues building it, I'm super happy. It gives a ton of space to my hamster, and he loves it! If I ever decide to get another hamster, this cage will be what I purchase for it!

Chew proof, smells good, pretty sturdy for what it is, husband assembled in 30 minutes!

I had no problem putting this together, with the help of my 5 year old son. just remember to follow instructions when it comes to putting on the side plates (: if the acrylic glass is facing the inside of the tank you should have no problem alligning the cut out holes.<br><br>I was sceptical about the rubber bands holding everything together, but was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it felt! It is a lil heavy, so I would suggest building it close to where it will be displayed.<br><br>while the tape that is included for the gaps will work just fine, if you're not planning to disassemble anytime soon, a little silicone caulk along the creases would be a much better long term fix to keep the dust and bedding where it belongs.<br><br>I'm not sure how necessary it is, but i also bought a food grade butcher block conditioning oil to waterproof and protect the wooden boards along the back and bottom of the cage. (As well as to protect her wooden accessories and hides inside the cage)<br><br>Altogether a fantastic cage, with ample floor space (20x40 in) for your hampster to run around in.

The assembly was possible with just one person, but the pieces were hard to fit together. I recommend lining up the plexiglass with the slots before sticking everything together. After assembling, the cage looked great. The depth is really good since hamsters should have at least 10 inches of bedding for burrowing. The floor space is about 800 sq inches, which is above the minimum requirement. It'd be really nice if this company offered a larger version of this cage though!

It was easy to put together, the perfect size, even bigger than I thought it would be. Was a little skeptical about the sturdiness, but it's been going great.

The cage only took me about 30 mins to put together by myself, it is soo pretty and a much cheaper version of the niteangel bigger world cage :) I love it! I like that you can put up to 20 inches of bedding and still for a 10 inch wheel

If you don't have the time and energy to build an IKEA detolf cage or one from scratch, I recommend this cage! It gives your hamster plenty of surface area and depth for burrowing, and it looks beautiful! It comes with all the tools (even a set of grip gloves) needed to assemble. Some things to consider though:<br>--The cage is easy to put together, but I did run into minor trouble due to orientation stickers (like "top," "bottom," "front," "back") being placed on the panels in incorrect locations. But if you use common sense, the pieces fit together like legos.<br>--The cage is really lightweight (considering its size) to the point that it seems semi-flimsy? There is also no hardware holding together the pieces; it's held together by the panels clicking together and rubber bands. I ended up using wood glue to reinforce the edges, and I would suggest this so long as you don't have plans to disassemble the cage later.<br>--Use aquarium silicone sealant to seal the inside bottom seams; don't use the tape that comes with the cage. I think the tape will fall off, get dirty, absorb wastes, etc.

This cage is a must have for your hamster or gerbil or even mouse. It's chew proof and my little guy has yet to get out and trust me he tries daily for over 30 days. It's super easy to assemble on break or lunchtime or when the kids fall asleep. This is easy to clean and a must have for your furry friend. It keep cool and allows them to stay happy and healthy

My Syrian is a chewer and a climber so I have had trouble keeping her happy in bin cages because the ones with plenty of surface area don’t have the height I need for her. I purchased the medium size of this Night Angel one and it’s great. It has plenty of surface area but also is tall enough that can’t reach the top even if she climbs on top of her 11” wheel! She definitely seems more content. It was also very easy to assemble.

It is not only long, but tall - this is so important, because my hamster learned how to clime on the back of the wheel and reach the top. It was not good since she would fall from it. Also, it meant she was not satisfied with her space and was looking for escape. This new cage is very impressive. Thank you to Victoria's Rachel youtube videos where I found about this brand.

This is a great product to upgrade your hamsters cage. We brought a new hamster and the cage we got was small even the wheel. Once we did our research and saw that Niteangel was a the go to company for hamster enclosures I just had to buy it. It is the best our Snowball is very happy. He burrowed so much in there and we got not just the cage but more items from Niteangel. I love these products and so does my children, and our fur baby Snowball.

Thank you for providing the appropriate square footage for Hamster enclosures! The item arrived safely, with all components inside, wrapped safely so there was no damage! It took about 30 minutes total to put together. (we only had to watch 1 minute of one video on youtube - but that was because we were arguing about where something was supposed to go... LOL) Great item - we highly recommend! Worth the price!

It’s the perfect size to fit right on top of my dresser, I would definitely recommend getting waterproof silicone to add to the plexiglass that sits at the bottom of the enclosure. So far it has help with any leaks with the enclosure. Overall I really love the look of this enclosure &amp; my hamster atlas loves to explore it

I absolutely love my niteangel cage! Its big, its tall, and it was super easy to put together. Other reviews complain about the silicone bands, but I personally had zero problems with them! None snapped when I was putting it together. I love how three sides are completely glass so I can see my little guy from all sides. Definitely recommend this cage for another other hamster parents out there!<br>If any silicone bands do snap on you tho, there are tons of extras in the baggie!

I love this cage as I have bought three of them. 2 Large and 1 Medium. They are all easy to build if you read the instructions and the labels on each piece. Back Board means it's the back of the cage. On the bottom board, you have two stickers, Back and Front to tell you which way it goes.<br><br>Pros:<br>1) The large is the biggest cage available in the US and it is huge! Medium would be better if you had a robo or a dwarf hamster but for your Syrians (esp the females) get the large. It's worth the extra space. It's SO DEEP, you can fill so much bedding in it. For you hammy to be it's happiest, you want to have 6 to 10 inches of bedding (they love more if you've got it!) and in this cage you can provide that easily.<br>2) It's easy to build, I am not a good builder, honestly, a bookshelf is a challenge lol but it's like a puzzle just snaps together. The silicone bands are easy enough to snap it together, I am appreciative of anything that I don't need a tool for.<br>3) I love how it's clear acrylic all the way around so you can see easily! I love seeing my little hammy dig his tunnels.<br>4) It's sleek looking so it would be hard for your parents to complain about how it looks. I have mine in our living room.<br>5) Nice big slits for air holes, I don't worry about closing the top of the cage at night.<br><br>Cons:<br>1) Build it where you want it, it's not easy to move when put together (you can however take it apart but you may need more rubber bands, easy to find, just look up silicone rings). You can move it a little bit but you could snap the rings.<br>2) It's held together with silicone rings, which is both great because you need no tools and terrible because they can break (when you are putting them on and when you are moving them) Do yourself a favor, hook the band on the top and pull down, makes it easier. I bought an extra pack because I heard they could break while applying but I only broke a few while figuring it out and they give you way more than you need.<br>3) It's chew resistant but not proof. If you have a gerbil or mouse this is not the cage for you, it's MDF board, one little chip and they would be able to get it (also because the little slits at the top would be easily escapable for a mouse or something smaller than a hamster. I haven't had any issues with my hamsters chewing out, I think it's because they like the cage and because I give them play time outside the cage at night so they are happy to come home to the Hamster Taj Mahal as my husband calls it.<br><br>Honestly, this is the cage I love more than any. You can get a 65-100 gal aquarium probably on Craigslist or on sale for slightly cheaper but they are SO heavy. I have an adopted hamster that came with a 65 gal and I can't lift it by myself. I looked at many, many cages trying to find the perfect one, this isn't perfect but it's close. All the nite angel products I've tried have been good quality and my hammies love them, especially the wheels and this cage!! (In my pictures, I ran out of bedding so I will be adding more in the shallow end as soon as my next order comes in lol)

I love the niteangel bigger world large. It's a beautiful enclosure with plenty of room for your loved one. One thing I don't like is that it isn't the sturdiest so when you are building it make sure you build it in the place you want it to be. I set this enclosure up by myself and it took only 30 minutes. I bought a critter trail as a travel carrier and it took over an hour and I still didn't have it set up so I returned it. Definitely worth the investment if you can't get your hands on a Ikea detolf. Treat your hamster to something not claustrophobic like crittertrail and get them the niteangel bigger world.
