My 10 month old kitten loves this so much! It isn��t easy to put together, at least for me. But he has stopped waking me at 4 am crying at the window. Plus he can take a trip outside and not feel cooped up in the house.

Amazing catio, i bought two different catios and connected them, i have 6 cats, they love it. we used a drill for all the catio, it made it easy, the only part that was hard to put was the roof, because we had to ask a friend to help us, two of us hold it and the third person put the screws, we put one half first and then the second half, once we got the third person to help us to hold it , it took like 20 min to put the screws and done.

Need 2-3 people to put it together. Definitely should use power tools. The cat box where the cats would sleep in were too small for my adult cats, so we didn��t install that part. We input a plywood board in the back on top of some of the shelves and then I added their large cat box beds in there & added self heating pads to them.
My cats are usually in the house and go outside all day. This will be an adjustment for them, they did try to escape but they can��t. I like it and one day they will too. It is heavy in the boxes, but light weight when put together and with several people you can move around in the yard if you don��t like it where you are putting it together at.
We also added tarp in the back of the house because their large cat boxes weren��t waterproof, so in case when it rains sideways their stuff won��t get wet. I gave it a 4 because I feel like for the price of this cat enclosure, the waterproof cat box on both sides should have been big enough for adult cats.

This large catio provides lots of space and shelving for the kitties. We took additional steps by building a gravel pad first, then raised it up on 2x10s (for more head room), then added a TREX flooring (for easier maintenance), lastly installed a clear poly roofing (to keep it mostly dry). Also, the canopy that is included works well for providing shade. I highly recommend this catio for your kitty/ kitties!

I thought this was rather easy to put together (me: 60+ yr old female). You will definitely need two people to put the roof on. I think it is very sturdy, there are cross pieces to stabilize the roof at the peak and more pieces to stabilize where the roof attaches to the side walls. FREE SHIPPING on this from this seller! Items to consider: There is only one side of each piece that is pre-drilled with holes, so you will need to line it up and hold the pieces together when screwing them together. The back pieces were off by about 3/8 of an inch at the top when lined up at the bottom. Also, make sure the side panels are numbers up (all pieces have a stamped number on them to correspond with the assembly directions) because you attach the roof via pre-drilled holes located on the side panels. There are no written directions, just pictures, so I'm adding this info to help others when they are assembling this.

I have had this for a couple months now. The wood is a bit thin, but it hasn't broken through storm after storm. Hail, high winds etc. the bridge and a platform did break, but haven't had any problems since getting better screws. Sun is wearing the paint but that's not a big deal.

Nice size catio... all parts and hardware were there. Just know that the instructions are hard to read! Make sure the beams go to the outside of the catico not inside, which we realized 3/4 done and had to restart. Used a drill, just used it slowly to avoid splitting the wood.

Made decent and my husband put it together in about an hour but he's a contractor so he knows what he's doing. I'm using it in my basement to socialize a cat so I can't so how it would hold up outside. All the shelves that come with it are great and it's a decent size.

Definitely love this catio but if ur handy it could be built cheaper at home! Great for a single cat lady and her babies!

We left half the floor in lawn grass, and put gravel on the other half (nearest the house), with an outdoor rug on top. In addition to the provided canopy, we draped some lightweight forest-print camo mesh over the rest of the roof, to make it feel like a jungle hideout. Kitties can go in and out freely. We just put it up, but think they will love it!

My cats love it.If you have bear ,stray dogs I wouldn't trust it . It is sturdy, not solid from bigger predators assembly was easy. I'm adding wind chimes and motion lights as my cats live in their outdoor enclosures
