For basically what is a cat bed/cave, this cat bed is definitely on the pricier side, but after doing some comparison shopping, this one has the most features and functionality.Once I received this and set it up for my cats, I can see that every piece is solidly constructed with higher-quality materials. The cave itself is heavy-duty plastic.The top half snaps onto the base, making it easy to clean and change out the replaceable cardboard scratching pads. The heat pad itself is made from heavy vinyl with an encased cord for protection.The heating unit slips into the underside of the bed, into a pocket that is the exact size of the heating element.The bed itself has a layer of padding between my cat and the heating element, so the bed itself remains warm without the danger of overheating the cat.The heating pad does feel extremely hot to the touch when it's not enclosed in the bed, so I would not suggest using the heating element with any other bedding or by itself.The cord has an exit hole where the top half meets the bottom half of the cat cave, so there is no cord accessible from inside the cat cave. The extra features on this cat cave are what make it unique from other cat caves.The top half of the dome holds two cardboard cat scratchers that my cat can access from inside and outside of the cave.The top of the dome houses a circular piece that has two functions: a deodorizer with motion detection and a floral foam insert to place the artificial plant.When my cat exits the cat cave, the motion detection picks that up and begins a short air deodorizing cycle. My cats don't necessarily make their bedding smell, but I can see this being very helpful if this cave is used by a small dog.At least in my experience, no matter how clean and groomed my dog is, his bedding gets that distinctive doggy smell after some time, and this deodorizing function would help cut down on that. The cave itself is large enough to be comfortable for a jumbo sized cat.My 18 lb.cat can easily stretch out inside the cave.The two smaller ones (7 lbs.and 9 lbs.) both fit inside with room to spare.

This is for a heated egg cat bed,, retail at time of review= $186.This is the deluxe model, can tell due to the red veins in the leaves. Arrives packaged very well, took less than 5 min to set up and did so without looking t directions.Came with additional inserts. The leaves fall off pretty easily.I suggest a dot of super glue each when putting together will save much hassle.Could also replace with spray of fake flowers or other foliage if wanted to do so. The inserts? I see no cat using these.Grade of super fine sandpaper.I personally would've preferred solid sides or inserts same color as the egg shell as an option.I just put them in to fill the open spots. This would make an excellent hidden litter box - I have 2 that are.Just add litter instead of included bed + heating pad.The feature in the lid insert that deodorizes when kitty (or small dog, bunny, ferrets, chinchillas, etc) has exited seems perfect for this.I personally would do this. It does a very limited light show - this is for you not felines.Can see in attached video & stills.Colors are red, green, white (seasonal for winter I guess).Just transitions from one to the other. The shell is made of better grade material, is firm with no give.Modern design, clean, like a huge egg. The price of this would be the turn off for me as a consumer.I was like, W.O.W.The aforementioned similar type litter boxes I got were over $100 less. So far in video can see kitty's level of interest (more in you, in video land, than egg).Only time entered when I placed treats in it.May be years then suddenly he notices it.Cats.smh Reminds me of Mork & Mindy egg spacecraft, so cannot look at it without hearing Mork/Robin Williams.lol Hope this review is helpful in making an informed decision.

The cost may sound a bit high, but the quality and functionality make it worth every penny.It almost looks like a piece of art, and the cats love it.I have one cat that is a heat lover, and she barely leaves the cubby.It is lightweight, making it easy to move around or for cleaning.If I had anything I would have added was a faux fur blanket or some soft material to add in the cubby, but it wouldn't keep me from purchasing.It is so decorative and looks great wherever it is set up

Looks more daunting than it is! Pretty easy to put together even though the instructions aren't the most incredible (though still helpful).Love the little patter they included and all of the extra scratch pads are adorable too.The warming pad gets the perfect temperature and not too hot.The bed is not the most comfy but it is very nice and useful with the pad and cord.I recommend adding a blanket over top for comfort. I did not understand the top button function so that was a bit disappointing, but overall my cats love it. Warning! Cats need to be taught to use the scratch pads! They do not fully understand that it's meant for scratching since it is covered with a picture.You might also need to anchor or weigh down the cove so it does not tip over when they scratch! Side note: you'll need to plug in and unplug the warmer as well.Which means it might be good to have timers set so you don't have a warmer going 24/7 or getting a different warmer that has a built in off switch. Overall, really great product and thoughtfulness but the execution could use quite a bit of work for its full value.

This is a fun and unique heated bed for 2 little Chihuahuas too ! The heated pad provides plenty of warmth and the bed adds to the comfort.It's nice and big, big enough for both to use at the same time.It's pretty sturdy when fully assembled and the artificial plant makes it look like a big potted plant, and the foam base allows for other decorations as well! I like the colorful lights and air purifier.Overall it's a great place for any little fur babies !

The cats were confused at first, but once they figured out WARM! they got right on board with it.I have this in the corner of my living room and it's actually really beautiful.The cats play with the leaves, which isn't great, but they haven't shredded them yet, so they're pretty good quality.The bed inside is so soft! It's warm, and it's big enough for two of my cats to snuggle up inside.

This warming cat bed is fun, compact, and cute! Fits great in my corner and my cat seems to enjoy the warming bed! She hasn't used the scratcher just yet but she does like the warm cubby!

This is such a cool bed.It's easy to put together and looks really nice.The heat it produces is consistent and doesn't have hot spots.The plant is ok but I'm going to replace it eventually.The scratching board is easy to replace and does a great job.My cat is obsessed with it.Overall it looks great and provides a safe and comfortable spot for my cat to relax in his own space.

It looks like a plant is growing out of the top.The assembly was basic and pretty easy.There are extra scratch pads included, so you can swap them out when they get too worn.Each pad has a different cute pattern on it.The interior is quite spacious, so I definitely think two cats could sleep in here at once, even though mine have decided they do not want to share! I haven't figured out where to put it yet.The heating pad is removable.It also comes with a really cute cat care poster that gives you some basics about cats.

As far as the item itself goes, it is pretty nice and convenient.If my cat were doing the review, he would give it one star because he has had no interest in it whatsover, and just like cats do, he is getting in it and taking a nap right as I type this.LOL.However, there are some stray cats that come up on the covered porch that this is probably going to be used for to give them a warm place to be when it gets cold.Plus it looks nice.One bonus is that if you don't want to use it for heat, then it could easily be a litter box as well.

This is awesome! It is quite large and easily fits a cat, but also could work for a small breed dog (yorkie, chihuahua, etc.) It is heavy duty and very well made.It is easy to set up and really sturdy.The scratching mats on the sides are a nice, added bonus.It is toasty warm inside and my cats love it! It's easy to clean and perfect for a cold winter day.

This is definitely for a spoiled pet! It includes a side cardboard scratcher which can be replaced from panels which remove from the inside.5 additional replacement sets (2x ea) are included, each with a different pattern. The inside bed is lightweight, but could easily be replaced with a heavier bed.The bed works well with the included heating pad for when it is cooler outside.The top includes an ozone generating sanitizing top which activates when your pet is inside.The top includes a floral foam insert for either live plants (water can be added) or artificial.A set of artificial stems / leaves is included which must be assembled.This may be a perfect place for live catnip treats! Although not a litter box, it also includes a litter scoop, and a charging cord for the ozone generator. This is perfect for a patio, or even inside in a small apartment.Our daughter took her cat to her first college apartment, this is a perfect and compact house which fits very nicely in her one-bedroom.Highly recommended!

Super fun cat cozy for my kitties! It works great, as far as the heat, just not needed for right now until the winter weather comes on.Its nicely sized and I love that, as most cat houses are pretty small.The most important thing is the cats, and that they like it of love it.And they must like it and love it because they still keep going in and out of it.Happy to of found it and putting it away for right now, until probably end of November, when I can put it outside.A+ on it as its good quality too.

I was initially worried that the plant was meant to be real and msot plants being toxic to cats even if they are just in the house had me worried.But it comes with a faux plant so that is much better. I don't think it's meant to hold a real plant as there is no drain hole. It took about ten minutes to out together.I changed out the panels on the sides to a cute cat cookie g which was so cute and anime style.I wish the panels had more diverse colors of cats.I got one tux, one white cat and the rest were all orange cat pictures which is fine but I just wish each one was a different color of cat. The heating pad inserts nicely into the bed inside and it doesn't get too hot for them.My calico immediately went inside and curled up. It comes with a usb charger and I had no idea what it did but then realized it lights it up but only when plugged in. The heater part is a normal 3 prong outlet cord. The pictures on the side that are changeable are cat scratching pads.But it isn't easy to put a new one in.The one it comes with is very rounded where the replacement ones are flat.It's not impossible it's just a pain. The instructions are easy to follow and they offer them in many languages.The only part it didn't mention was the USb charger but figured that out on my own. Assembled it stands as tall as the back of my sofa.

Very easy to assemble and set up, very light weight and the plant is a cute addition.The cats love this so much, they sleep in it nightly and somehow someway all 3 manage to squeeze in there and cuddle.Few different heat settings and times.

This thing is next level.Your cats are going to love it.If you want bells and whistles this thing has them.The cabinet itself is just basic plastic, but it is heavy duty and very durable.The bed is easy to remove and wash.The heater has a nice length cord with chew protection.The scratching pads are stylish and it includes several replacements.The thing has a built in ozone machine for easy regular deodorizing.The whole thing is nice sized and it just looks sharp.It is simple to assemble and the instructions are actually quite detailed.The ozone cleaner has built in sensors that tells it to shut off if a cat enters.The fake plant is large and looks quite realistic.I just can't find anything bad to say about this.It will definitely add some style to your cat decor.
