It took about a week to get used to this grass pad, but he loves it now! Being able to easily flush most of the pee means the mat doesn't have to get cleaned super often to not smell. I've been doing it every couple weeks. Highly recommend getting the option w 2 mats they take a long time to dry. I also recommend the pee pads around to catch any over spray, they sell washable ones, I just got. It can be a little difficult to get dried on poo off, so paper towel/ wet wipe it off ASAP. To clean I just throw it under the shower and use a little soap and water and vinegar and water in spray bottles. Just wish I had somewhere outside to hang dry it. But with two mats it can take it's time to dry. No more pee on my exercise bike, antique furniture or carpet! Thank you! Plus my other dog is a chewer and doesn't seem interested. I just papertoweld a little pee dabed the turf and "wee" where off to the races.

The product is sturdy. I personally use an absorbent pad between the turf and the black removable plastic just to keep things cleaner. I don't want urine swimming in the tray.
Overall, I am very pleased with this product.
I recommend some kind of disposable padding between the turf and tray to minimize messes when cleaning.
I also recommend that you have some kind of odor removal product for the turf. It will smell over time. I am hoping the baking soda idea works so I don't have to spend a fortune on cleaning products.
