    I've been using this to keep my dog from going upstairs. He's a large breed (GSD) and trained but I need a barrier to make sure he knows where not to go. The height is not too high so you can walk over it, this would be suitable for smaller to medium-sized dogs. I love that I can adjust the width and the color matches the wooden stairs compared to plastic ones where I have to drill a hole on the wall, which doesn't look good at all.
