Chicken & Vegetable Salad
In this DIY homemade dog food recipe, we use skinless, boneless chicken thighs to provide your dog with lean protein and a flavor they’ll love. Then, we add in carrots, green beans, and apples to provide them with a variety of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 pounds boneless and skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup green beans canned, diced
- 1 apple peeled, cored, and coarsely chopped
Instructions
- 1.Rinse chicken, place in a large pot, cover with water, and bring to a low boil.
- 2.Cook until chicken is done, about 35 minutes. Pour off all but 1 cup broth.
- 3.Chop chicken into bite-size pieces. Add remaining ingredients, stir to combine.
- 4.After cooled, store in an airtight container and place in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for later use.
