   I was surprised at the good quality these gates are. I ordered 2 to keep my daughters 55 lb dogs away from my 30 lb dog with anxiety. The gates did NOT keep the larger dogs contained without constant supervision, but I gave these 5 stars because I think they would work really well for smaller dogs.

   We have a small puppy that will stay a small dog. This gate is perfect for blocking her away from unwanted areas. There isn’t a walk through gate but it’s short enough that one isn’t needed. The quality of the wood is nice and the hinges allow for multiple configurations.

   We had a problem with our dog urinating on our living room rug. I needed something to keep him out yet of the room. I wanted something attractive, of good quality and didn’t close the room off. This gate is so much better than the retracting one we had before. (Our dog had managed to sneak underneath the old one.) It keeps our Shih Tzu out!!! This gate would not work for a bigger pet because they’ll figure out they can knock it over quickly. For our purposes it’s perfect.

   Exactly what I was looking for to keep my new puppy out of my dining room. I have large wall openings, this larger size gate was perfect and it’s hinged. It was easy to walk in and out of or step over. Its not for large dogs they would be able to jump over it but perfect for my small dog.

   First impression: a well crafted unpainted wooden pet gate. I like that it's natural wood, unpainted and long enough to create a partial boundary around my office area in the living room. Most cats could easily jump this gate, but combined with a Japanese screen, it works well enough for now.
   
   So even though this was listed for puppies, we use it for our cat to discourage her from dancing on my keyboard while working. :)

   Needed a gate for the garage to let our pups come out, but keep them safe. This gate is a godsend! It conforms to its home in the garage perfectly and never has any hang-ups while opening/closing. It's also the perfect height for stepping over as many dog gates are too tall and are very easy to get tripped up on. If you're looking for a solid, durable, gate that keeps your pups protected from any outside dangers than look no further than this one.

   I like the simplicity of this gate. They are basically bifold sections that need nothing but their design to stay standing. My dog is 6 YO and pretty calm. She will not touch this gate or try to get around it. It works great for keeping her in the back family room when needed. Like Halloween. The doorbell drives her nuts so I’m hoping now that we have this gate it’ll be easier for us to leave her behind and answer the door without having our ‘attack’ dog barking up a storm at the door. We used to have a security gate that we installed in the same doorway but it was difficult to go through and really not necessary now that she is six. This is the perfect deterrent for keeping her at bay. However, this would NOT work for puppies or large dogs or even small dogs if they are jumpers or rambunctious. It would fall over or scoot out of the way too easily.
   
   The feet do not have any kind of rubber stoppers so they slide super easy on a wood or tile floor. The finish of the wood almost feels like bare unfinished wood. The hinges are not well screwed on and it looks like the screw heads slots are stripped. The hinges feel sturdy enough, but definitely of lower quality.

This gate is extremely sturdy with a very nice finish. Definitely worth the slightly higher cost of some others, especially considering the adjustable feet.

   I got this gate to keep my toddlers away from my dogs when they eat. It looks cosmetically pleasing in my home, which I appreciate because it’s a modern home. It seems very durable and will last, I’m very happy I got it!!!! I need to look into something for the bottom so it can’t easily slide as my dog learned very quickly she can just nudge it and leave the mud room. It’s not a big deal, I monitor the dogs while eating anyways.

   Just this week my dog and I were sitting out on the porch together. She decided she was going to take off from the porch and chase something. Had to call her back twice and she came back. That is when decided to shop for a gate. This one had great reviews and was the exact size I needed. So glad I got it! It is very sturdy and made very well. It is a perfect fit for my porch and now do not have to be concerned about my dog running off the porch to chase after something.    I foster animals and often need to block off space to accommodate new arrivals. This gate allows me to close off a loft area, keeping kittens in and other animals out. The size is great, it's very durable yet still light weight.
   
   The space between the slats is just over 1.5 inches. The last litter of kittens I brought in were 2 months old but severely malnourished so very tiny and one of them kept slipping through the gate. I just taped cardboard across the bottom half of the gate and was able to keep her in until she was bigger. Now, with the cardboard removed, she likes to play footsy with the animals on the other side.
   
   Overall I am very happy with this product.

   This is a great gate. We are using it for a very energetic puppy that is about 8 pounds but can fit through a regular type gate. He isn't able to move it and is unable to squeeze through the bars. The stabilizer on the bottom really help so it won't tip over easily. Best of all it is easy to open and close and is not too heavy. We received the gate very quickly.

   I really like this gate! Certainly it wouldn't be baby proof or big dog proof as it is very light weight and very short. However, we have two chihuahuas I wanted to keep out of our formal dining room when I bought a new white rug and it is perfect for that. It is light and easy to fold up or move, and the extra long length is great. The opening to our room is 6 1/2 feet and we still have an extra gate panel (that could be removed by unscrewing the hinge) length wise.
   
   Because of the low profile, it isn't an eye sore at all. The wood is raw (no clear coat), so I'm going to stain it to match our floors and it will actually blend right in with the decor!

   We bought this "play pen" style gate in order to kennel our wild chihuahuas near their dog door. As the door is in our dining area, I wanted something more attractive to replace the tall wire gate we had been using. I actually bought it thinking that I would stain or paint it. So far I have left it unfinished and it looks so much better than than the old gate that I am finding myself quite unmotivated to change it! Even though it is shorter (18" vs 24"), my dogs have not jumped it yet. Added bonus: because it does not have any horizontal supports, our jailbreaker who managed to scale her way out of the previous wire style gate has been on lock down!
   
   We are still using the older wire style gate to keep the dogs away from our workout equipment out on the patio, and it is perfect for that. This is just so much better looking for those of us who need to balance canine corralling needs with keeping our homes from looking like a dog shelter.
